The reinforced AirMesh upper material is lined with the Gore-Tex Invisible Fit Membrane to protect from rain and snow without bulk. This waterproof lining helps maintain the same fit and feel as the non-Gore-Tex Bushido II.
Slip-on construction wraps your foot like a sock without compressing or exerting pressure points.
FriXion XT V-Groove2 incorporates dual-compound rubber to insure confident grip on any type of terrain, dry or wet. The outsole lug design wraps the midsole to provide added traction and enhanced stability on off-camber terrain.

Solid trail running sneaker. Comfortable, and my feet feel secure when running in them. I bought a half size up, and they fit great.I've bought trail sneakers and they were so narrow that they lead my ankles to roll when traversing over rocks and things. I wouldn't say the shoe is wide, but the sole is wide and spread out in the edges to provide solid sturdy landings when running.Overall landing on jagged rocks feels great, and there's a bit of a steel or hard toe in front to prevent jamming toes on rocks.Solid sneaker, definitely recommend. 5 stars
