What you see in the photos is NOT what you will receive. It appears the photos of the suits are taken from another designer's or retailers website, and then HBDesign then manufactures their interpretation of the suit. The suit I received arrived quickly by DHL from China. To be honest, I hadn't realized until right after checkout of the item, the item was coming from China. I thought I was buying from a U.S. vendor. I wasn't happy about that as I foresaw problems with returns and should have cancelled the purchase there and then, but decided to go ahead with the purchase any way. The suit I received was truly awful. The peaked lapels were not cut symmetrically. Your eyes automatically focus straight on to the uneven lapels. I ordered a size 52R but the jacket was cut more like a 52L. The sleeves and body were cut too long for a regular size. The buttonless sleeves were badly finished and flapped around like some weird blue bird's wings. The jacket had badly fitted, huge shoulder pads which stuck out like a pair of American football shoulder protection. My 52R suit came with a pair of 51" waist pants! The industry standard is the "Six Down" rule. A 52" suit should have come with 46" pants. There was no way to have 51" waist pants re-tailored down to a 42" pants without completely deconstructing them and remaking them.The worst thing was rhe fabric used. The suit was made with a bright solid blue cheap poly-cotton fabric, the type commonly used in factory worker's or mechanic's uniforms. The cheap fabric choice just made the suit look cheap, and the color / texture was completely different from the fabric used in the photos.I contacted the seller and was offered a $40.00 refund which meant I was still out of pocket $90.00 and would be stuck with a suit I cannot / will not wear in public, unless I needed a clown suit for Halloween. I insisted on returning it and was given an address in Mobile, Alabama to ship to a return center. After spending an additional $16.50 on UPS shipping, I was refunded the price of the suit ($110.00), MINUS the $25 shipping cost from China, which meant I was still $41.00 out of pocket from this experience. Avoid this seller. If you are looking for a suit around the $100 price range, you will be far better served and receive a far better quality suit, by buying from Amazon marketplace vendors such as Statement, Ferrecci USA, or Alain Dupetit.
